Château Bonnet | White
AOC Entre-deux-Mers
AOC Bordeaux
Château Tour de Bonnet exists in white, rosé and red versions. This wine was created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the construction of a belvedere by André Lurton's grandfather, Léonce Récapet. Aged with special care and attention partly in new oak barrels, a new prestige cuvée, Château Tour de Bonnet Grande Cuvée, now adds to the estate's range. It will delight people who love rich, powerful wines. It has a bouquet of ripe fruit with hints of vanilla and is smooth and perfectly balanced on the palate!

Conditions météorologiques
2016 was one of the finest vintages in the past 20 years. Winter was exceptionally wet and mild, and it rained a great deal in spring until June. However, the weather changed radically in mid-June, turning warm and quite dry, with cool nights. Ideal conditions for growing excellent wine grapes!

Dégustation
Both elegant and intense, this fine cuvée is a beautiful deep red colour, scattered with sumptuous purple highlights.
The bouquet is wonderfully complex with a pleasant combination of black fruit notes (Morello cherry, blackcurrant, etc.) and Virginia tobacco overtones.
Starts out smooth and straightforward on the palate. Well structured, with flavoursome notes of ripe red and black fruits, featuring good concentration and balance. The soft tannins and finish characterised by hints of sweet spices (cinnamon) make this wine simply irresistible.

The cradle of Vignobles André Lurton, Château Bonnet is first and foremost a family home where tradition and ecological commitment come together in harmony. Nestled in the heart of the Entre-deux-Mers region, the estate promotes biodiversity with beehives, a henhouse, flowering fallows and orchards, while adopting biocontrol viticultural practices for some of its plots. Its fresh, expressive dry white wines reveal delicate notes of citrus and exotic fruit, perfect for accompanying seafood and oysters from the Bay of Arcachon. Its well-balanced red wines, with supple tannins, express all the richness and deliciousness of the fruit.
