Conditions météorologiques

2021 was marked by very capricious weather. There was a lot of rain in the spring. An episode of frost at the beginning of April caused major damage. The summer was very mild, with no extreme heat. At the end of August, fine weather set in, with high temperatures during the day and cool nights: ideal conditions for ripening the grapes. These last few weeks were crucial to the success of this vintage.

Dégustation

A cherry-red colour of medium depth, with a few slightly bluish highlights.
The nose is fruity, dominated by delicious notes of red fruit (cherry), with a hint of light oak and vanilla.
The attack is clean and fresh. Luscious fruit notes (cherry, strawberry) accompany us throughout the tasting; the whole is very harmonious on the palate. A well-balanced wine with good drinkability. A lovely finish.

Lovely aromatics on the nose. Succulent but with a gentle acidity so you get a really soft mouthwatering effect as well as sweet, jammy but also fresh fruit - cooling blueberries, creamy plums and black cherries. Feels supple and well worked with a distinct freshness and precision. I love that lick of stone on the finish too. Sustained and direct with presence and intention. Great stuff this vintage!

Intense purple red with violet hue, elegant nose with ripe berries, hints of aromatic herbs and mild spices, very discreettoasting in the background. On the palate well balanced with ripe tannins , rather medium bodied yet with very good lenght, fine toasting , ripe fruit and discreet spiciness.
